Here are the results from last weekend’s Ebworth Trial. Must have been a tricky trial, some of the scores appear to be akin to excellent cricket scores! Feedback indicates a splendid event.

Single venue, in a lovely part of the country and the chance to get in some official practice on Norman’s Hump and Clinton by daylight ahead of next years Exeter.

8^th Bovey Down single venue clubsport classic car trial

16^th March 2014

The venue is located near Seaton, Devon MR: 192/203913

Join us for a day of fun at 20+ sections, such as the well known Clinton and Normans Hump as used in the Exeter trial. Ideal for novices or for those with many,  many years of experience. No competition licence required and day membership available for those wanting to give motor sport a go.

Numbers are limited to 40, so no long queues at the sections.

Catering van with excellent food and a portaloo in case of one too many cups of tea will be available throughout the day.

Here are the Regulations and Entry Form for this years Torbay Trial. Entries will close on 10th March or sooner if the limit is reached, as was the case in 2012, so best to get your entry in early to avoid disappointment.

This year Dave Haizelden is taking the helm as Clerk of Course so that Greg Warren can enter, so come on you Class 3 competitors lets give him some competition!! Don’t have a MSA Comp Licence? No worries as this year Car drivers can enter under the Clubmans Permit so just need to be a member of one of the 15 invited Clubs.

Here are the SRs etc for this year’s Ebworth Trial, held in its traditional location.

Please note that contrary to par 8 your car will need to be taxed as the finish is external to the woods and reached by public road. This should be made clear in the Final Instructions.

These will definitely be the last set of SRs etc sent out using the 2013 database. The Torbay documents will use the 2014 list, so if you want to continue to get your SRs the easy and you haven’t joined for 2014 – better get your skates on.

This will be the last event that uses the 2013 ACTC entrant database so if you have not yet sent back your 2014 ACTC Entry this could be the last set of SRs you receive, not to mention no Restart mags for 2014.

You still have time to remedy the situation though, you can download the ACTC Entry Form 2014, I look forward to receiving them.
