Formed in 1964 the Minehead Motor Club are organisers of the Valiant in May and the Exmoor Clouds in October. The Derek Merson Exmoor Clouds Trial is now in it’s 29th year and an ACTC Championship round.
The club also runs the Somerset Stages Rally, a classic tour in August, the Porlock Hill climb in August, a production Car Trial every other month and the usual treasure hunts and other social events. All events are run in the Exmoor National Park. There is a regular meeting on the first Thursday of the month at the Minehead Rugby Club.
